+ How Much Does Delivery Cost?
Delivery in Wagga Wagga starts at $50.00 or $5.50 per kilometre for all areas outside of Wagga Wagga. Contact our office today for a quote.
+ How Do I Pay For My Delivery?
You can pay for the delivery of your product via eftpos, credit card, cash on delivery or in person at 1 Lathe Street (off Copland Street) Wagga Wagga NSW 2650. If requested we can also provide customers with a mobile eftpos machine that we can bring with your delivery. If you require change for cash on your order, please advise us when making your order as our drivers don’t carry change on them.
In low season orders should be placed before 10am if you would like your delivery on the exact day, time and in the truck size you want. During peak season the more notice given the more chance of having the your order at the time you would like. Some of our valued customers book their orders the week before, this works well for our customers and for us.
+ What Does the delivery price allow for onsite what do I need to do to prepare for your driver?**
Conditions of having Bedrock Landscape Supplies come to your driveway include:
Clear access
Identified power lines
Dogs restrained
Children inside under the care of a supervising adult
The driver has the final say
Our professional Bedrock Landscape Supplies drivers will make every effort to place your product in the preferred location. Although, please take into consideration that the driver needs to consider the limitations of the truck, your safety, and their own safety. The driver has the final say on where the product will be placed.
The customer must provide safe and adequate access to a private property if there is a necessity to cross a footpath or kerb. Any damages to public or private property, or any injury or wrong which may result from there will be met by the purchaser.

+ Dead Patch In Lawn?
Dead patches that appear on the lawn can be caused by a number of things.
Some causes include:
- Low cutting mower
- Animal urine
- Dry areas of soil
- Poor growing conditions
- Chemical exposure
- Dull or blunt mower blades
- Plant diseases
+ How To Lay Turf?
The key on how to lay turf is simple for DIY installation. It usually follows a pattern of:
- Preparing the soil by levelling it out, turning it over, and removing any debris.
- Sprinkle the turf with water lightly to reduce the risk of drying out.
- Apply lawn fertilizer to ground and lay out the turf on the same day its delivered.
- Soak turf after it has been laid.
- Top dress the turf after it has been laid.
- Continue to water for the first year.
+ How Much Roadbase To Use?
The amount of roadbase you will need depends on the size of the area which you want to cover. Roadbase roughly weight around 1.7tons to the cubic metre. Sand, rock and peddle roadbase weighs roughly 1.5 tons while organic matter and soils weight around 0.9tons.
+ What is garden soil good for?
Garden soil is good for plants, growing vegetables and worms. It provides nutrients to keep plants healthy and growing. Bedrock Garden Mix is made from locally sourced products on site. It is full of nutrients and organic matter.
+ How often should I revitalise my garden soil?
A good quality garden soil should provide the base for healthy garden for several seasons. However if you are growing high maintenance vegetables or plants that will take alot of nutrients from the soil it should be replenished annually with a soil conditioner. This is as easy as digging through compost and manures. Products like Nitro Hummus, mushroom compost, cow manure or pig manure will all do the job. Check with the Bedrock staff to see what is available.
+ What Mulch Do I Use?
There are many different types of garden mulch that can be used. The following is where each mulch type can be used.
- Shredded or Chipped Bark – Bark mulches are the best type for placing around garden beds, shrubs, and trees.
- Compost/Composted Manure – Composted manure and compost can be used anywhere as long as you use a good coating.
- Grass Clippings- Grass clippings are ideal for areas of the garden where you want to supress weeds.
- Shredded Leaves – Shredded leaves are one of the best mulches to place anywhere in the garden. They also help to promote an increase in worm population for a more nutrient garden.
- Newspaper – Newspaper is ideal for suppressing weeds and can help with jump starting new garden beds. It also works wonders to wrap around plant roots to keep them moist while transporting.
- Straw/Hay – Straw and hay mulches are ideal for vegetable gardens.

Vegetables grow best in organic soil. Organic soil gives plants the nutrients they need to start to grow and continue throughout the season. Bedrock Garden Mix is a mixture of locally sourced composted green waste,fines, sand and top soils to ensure a soil rich in nutrients and minerals.
